Playground Resurfacing at Flushing School

The brief: a worn, patched surface out and a new safety surface in, with access over a boundary wall and a fixed window before the children returned.

We stripped the old surface, craned in crushed stone over the wall, compacted a new sub-base and finished with blue wet-pour and the drain covers set flush. Drag the slider: both photos were taken from the same spot.

New Paving and Paths at Gwinear

Old slabs lifted where the grass had grown through the joints, a paved terrace the full length of the classrooms with handrail and steps, weed membrane and new paving to the fire door, and concrete paths run out across the playing field.

Done to a school’s timetable, with our own lorry and digger on site.
